Just playing around with v2.0 - interface feels smoother than before. Loaded some of my previous 1.6 patches - everything sounds sweet so far - the overall impression is that you’re listening to a full rack of modules - wonderful!

Dan, there’s clearly a lifetime of engineering and experience packed inside the Meta - this is a splendid achievement!

Hey Dan,
What do you mean by this statement?
Can you give some examples?

The first example we saw was the SDOrcasHeartV2 module which has a knob to select a preset scale. The buttons at the top change to indicate the notes in the selected scale. Previously, in firmware v1.x, the buttons wouldn’t look any different as you turn the knob. But in v2.x the MM it displays properly

This is amazing!

Tried out the scope module from Fundamentals just now. It’s amazing that we now get a free oscillator with MetaModule!

From what I see, currently, there’s no way to set the scope display to ‘full screen’, so I’m wondering… is it technically possible? Or is a ‘full screen’ mode currently “not allowed” within MetaModule?

In any case, the graphic screens are awesome!

EDIT: Wait, apparently, we have full screen mode now?! I need to find out how to access it…

EDIT2: Ok, so accessing full screen mode is clicking the “hide eye” symbol it seems. The full screen mode basically scales the module height to the display height while keeping the aspect ratio the same, so a “setting the module width to display width” is currently not available.
For oscilloscopes, it seems something like “FullScope” from JWModules would work best in theory, i.e., a module where the buttons are are small as possible and the scope itself takes up most of the available view space of the module. If the FullScope could be rewritten to a 4:3 ratio (i.e., some landscape format similar to the MetaModule’s display size), that would be “it”

I was expecting a real full screen too. Let’s hope that will be available some time or even better a zoom mode to whichever parameter is being accesed.

I see that cv-cc module is not still implemented. I suppose it will be some time in the future.

I started implementing this. The idea is to show displays in the list of knobs/jacks/etc. When you select a display it will zoom it to full screen (maximizing the width or height), until you hit the back button.
