Firmware v2.0.12 -- hotfix for file browser

Firmware v2.0.12

https://github.com/4ms/metamodule/releases/download/firmware-v2.0.12/metamodule-firmware-v2.0.12-firmware.zip

This solely contains a fix for a bug introduced in v2.0.10 where some modules that use the file browser (e.g. SickoCV and Voxglitch samplers and players) would often crash when attempting to open the file browser window. This is now fixed.

(some bigger features will be coming in v2.1!)

Awesome! I wasn‘t able to load files through the voxglitch sampler hope that fixes it! Will try out and report back :mechanical_arm:

Voxglitch Wavbank still doesn’t work. Doesn’t load samples when selecting directory. Tried different directories with no sucess

The sickozell drum player also freezes when loading in 2.0.12. Maybe it’s because the samples are too large.

@etcetc might know what’s going on there?

if i remember the sickosampler wouldn’t let you load any samples over a certain size. but it wouldn’t crash, just not load the sample (i haven’t tested it out in a while). @sickozell might have better insight than i on this

he is aware of this issue

waiting also for the folder problem to be fixed

ah ok i missed that one

Yes, sorry for the delay. been working on some other MM quality of life stuff for 2.1. I will find some time to get to this soon.

thx a lot for your efforts and your amazing modules!!

Can you be more detailed about what isn’t working? I just made a new patch on v2.0.12, using SickoCV plugin v0.20, and added a DrumPlayer module. I mapped the outputs to the MM Outs jacks and mapped the Trigger inputs to MIDI Note Gates. Then I scrolled down to the Options at the bottom and clicked on each slot, loading a ~2-10MB file for each slot.
Each of the 4 samples played when I pressed a key on my MIDI keyboard. The only thing is I think the name of the sample in the slot didn’t display until the next time I opened the Options menu. That is to say, the slot was full (the light was on and it would play the right file when triggered) but the Options menu needed to be closed and re-opened to get it to show the new file name.
