BTW I changed the knob mode and it seems to be the solution.

really appreciate it!!! for the resent live show, i had to manually lift the mm out of the skiff and tap the reset button each time before attempting to load the next patch to avoid those random crashes. not fun but it worked.
even had one guy ask afterwards “why were you lifting the module out a bunch”.. and i just told them “its just a form of “live patching”” haha
also im curious @danngreen - is it possible to accidentally damage the module by needing to hit that reset a bunch, as in like: accidental static shock, or i don’t know what else… im no electronics expert so just curious if i should try and avoid doing this whole pull out/reset move a lot or use plastic gloves? which would be hilarious and draw even more funny looks on stage. im at least certainly being gentle when doing this but my fingers are definitely hitting the board/pins next to the button since im not pulling it out too far, just enough room to slider my finger under there.
