File system and folder structures

I would really appreciate being able to open and close folders (in the file system). I’m getting more and more patch files, and soon I would also like to organize my samples in a nice folder structure.

for now Im using a prefix e.g. utl-, osc-, fx- , but placing in sub folder would be a bit easier.

that said, the fact that patch name is pretty much filename, might make this a bit awkward… so not sure, if id still end up using a prefix :person_shrugging:

+1 to opening closing folders as well, with mm remembering on reboot which ones were left open and closed.

By the way, i just placed a super fast micro SD (512 GB) and loading external modules is now 2x faster…

And my travel case is now ready (with a cheat sheet)

nice looking! im curious what exactly brand/model sd card you’re using now?

Ok, yeah, it’s possible to add that feature to open/close subfolders and have it remember the state.

Right now the best workflow is to put your files into subfolders, then when you’re in the Patch Selector page, hit Back once and it will let you jump from subfolder to subfolder. Not sure everyone knows you can do that already? Like this (this is me taking a screenshot, turning the rotary one click, then taking another screenshot, …)
