Since it’s Wi-Fi, it has an antenna. And a basic rule of antennas is that any stuff in between the antenna and your Wi-Fi router’s antenna will make the signal weaker. Especially metal. And especially metal wrapping all the way around (like, putting an antenna inside a metal box).
So if your case is metal, and/or presumably there is a lot of metal in the modules that you place over that 4HP hole, then the Wi-Fi signal is going to get weaker. Though, if the signal was super strong to begin with, then it might still be OK.
The only way is to know if it works is to try. It will depend on the signal strength and all kinds of complex factors like how far away in all three dimensions is any kind of metal from the antenna. So if you try it, then orient it so that the top of the module (basically the part under the 4ms logo – where the antenna is) is in the most isolated part of the case, farthest from anything metal.
But – please keep in mind if you do this: if you start having connection issues (e.g. sometimes it works and sometimes it takes forever to connect, or it drops out sometimes, or only loads half the page, etc…) then the first thing to try is to take it out of the case.
