DualLooperWithVerb-DLDx3.yml (23.0 KB)
DualLooperWithVerb-DLDx3.vcv (3.4 KB)
3 DLD loopers which have up to 1:28s on them for building up a nice array of textures, drones, ambient etc. best for aleatoric music, not beat sync stuff (although you could fairly easily alter this patch to make the DLDs beat sync’d since that’s one of that modules strong suits).
u,v,w - input stereo gains for input jacks 1-6 (i.e. ins 1,2 on mm coincide with u, 3,4-v). 50% knob rotation(12 o’clock) = 0db, 100% knob = 40db (good for line in devices). the dld’s can get crunchy with some kind of internal clipping so you might need to watch your input levels.
A - send audio from any of the 3 inputs(i.e. u,v,w) into the 1st DLD’s loop
B - feedback & loop out volume on the 1st DLD (only goes up to 100% fdbk, but you could alter the VCV project if you need it to go higher since the DLD fdbk goes up to 120% or so)
C - loop time for DLD 1. once you have a loop going you can get some nice glitchy stuff by messing with the time knob.
D,E,F - same as ABC except controls the 2nd DLD
y - audio in to 3rd DLD’s loop.
x - feedback for 3rd DLD
z - reverb wet
note: i left out a time knob for the 3rd DLD as i just wanted one of the loops to act as more of a ‘transitional’ loop for my live performances, but you could easily alter the vcv file and add a time knob for DLD 3 in there (in knob set 2) if you wanted that.
runs ok for me at a cool 93(% cpu 48/512) with inputs 1-4 plugged in. if you want to run all 6 inputs, you’ll need to most likely set your mm to 32/512. tbh, i can’t really tell the difference in this patch when the mm is set to 32 versus 48.
