just thought i’d cap a vid while having fun workshopping through a series of samples and patches for an upcoming show. dueling mm’s: way more fun than dueling banjos!
the patches used on this are a remix of the 8x one here: 8x sample loop player - #6 by offthesky
some but not all of the sounds used in the loops came straight from older patches i cobbled together for metamodule. typically just recorded those into ipad, and further mucked about with using samplr, borderlands, drambo, koala etc.

thnx! i guess it at least shows one way (out of a trillion) of doing live sets with mm. i also think one could do a set like this with only 1 mm, but it would require a lot more menu diving to replace samples one at a time on the fly. having the sts, whenever that shows up, will hopefully speed that process up with fast disc read, instead of ram loading.

how did you get your MM to show a black screen?
Is there a screen saver option that I didn’t find so far? 
check in the main settings > prefs menu, there’s an option you can set in there for ‘screen timeout’.
