I previously owned a hardware DLD and upgraded to two MM recently, selling the DLD for rack space.
My preferred way of using the DLD was with the alt firmware that routes the audio once through the send/return prior to looping and feedback. That option made the DLD feedback a lot less temperamental and more playable with that mode.
TL:DR I’d love to see the alternative firmware’s Send/Return routing option in the alt parameters on the DLD. @danngreen, is this possible?
