DIY Wifi Expander

I just bought a MetaModule and I’m eager to get into it. There is one question I had: I have multiple spare ESP32s, is it possible to hook one up to the MetaModule as a DIY Wifi Expander? I have the means to connect it to power (internal USB and Otto’s PowerBrick), so I presume all I would need is a button, an LED and the firmware.

Yeah, it should work. The MetaModule will flash the firmware for you, you just need to provide power supply, button (LED is not critical though it’s useful), and connections to the right pins.
