Cloned Instruments Spectral and Pitchshift modes over 99%

Hi!

Im trying to use this two alternate modes for Clouds and both are over 99%

Any ideas?

reduce bitrate in settings maybe? I haven’t tried those modes.

Tried all the Clouds modes and confirm that the Spectral Madness mode uses more than 99% CPU while running at 48khz without any other modules loaded. Putting the sample rate down to 24khz works but you can most definitely hear a difference when you do that with the other modes, so definitely going to sound different at the lower rate. Pity. The spectral madness is one of my favorites.

Also got it working at 48khz by setting the buffer size to 512. Still don’t quite understand why this bring the CPU down to 75% but frankly all I care about is that it works. Don’t try adding much else to your patch though… even a couple of LFOs and VCAs push things back of 99% :frowning:

spectral and pitchshift modes are definitely the more interesting, im really hopeful they can eventually be optimized to run much better on the mm at 48 as id love to use them more
