I’m not sure if this is possible but I’d love to have an expander that has 14 ins and one that has 14 outs. Maybe it could just be one expander with a switch on the back that could determine if they’re all inputs or all outputs. Again forgive my ignorance with regards to hardware.
I find that I want to send more modulation/audio into the Meta Module than the 8 (module) + 6 (expander) inputs allow. The 8 outputs on the module are more than enough for me, but I have a friend that wants 32 outputs which would currently require 3 of the expanders and I assume those aren’t chainable.
This isn’t a huge deal as I’m having fun with the Meta Module ecosystem as-is, but it would be very cool to route more CV/audio into and out of the Meta Module as I’ve been having fun routing into and out of and back into and out of the Meta Module in my system in its current hardware state.
