Cartesia Sequencer

Watch Cartesia on YouTube

Cartesia is a 16 step sequencer that uses an XY grid to dictate the current step. 4 pages of sequences are available. Clock inputs for sequence direction and index are provided for creating evolving sequences.

External Audio Path:

-Main audio outputs on ch. 1 and 2.

Internal Audio Path:

-4 FM oscillators go into the VCA inputs of the Shaped Dual Envelope Generator
-The outputs of the Shaped Dual Envelope Generators are mixed together
-The master output of the mixer then runs into a stereo chorus
-After the stereo chorus the entire patch goes into a Dual Looping Delay

Internal CV Path:

-The Count main output clocks Cartesia X axis, Mito, DLD, and Deviant.
-Outputs from MITO drive the Y and Z axis of Cartesia.
-Deviant is used to control the timbre of the FM oscillators and time and feedback of the DLD
-The quantized notes from Cartesia are fed to the v/Oct inputs of the 4 FM voices.
-Gates from MITO trigger the amplitude envelopes of the Shaped Dual Envelope Generators.

Metamodule knob mappings:

A - Amplitude decay 1
B - Amplitude decay 2
C - Amplitude decay 3
D - Amplitude decay 4
E - Note Offset
F - Cartesia output attenuator
U - Timbre modulation amount
V - FM amount
W - Deviant output range
X - DLD Dry/Wet
Y - Chorus Speed
Z - Chorus Depth
