This has probably been asked before (I can’t find the answer in the online manual), but can Audio/CV ins 1-6 be used for gates?

I have, but I don’t think it works, e.g. if I have Gate 1/2 and CV 1/2 going to 2 x AI Resonators, and CV 5/6 (as gates) and CV 3/4 going to 2 x AI Macro Osc, the latter pair behave as if there’s no gate control.
