I was just wondering if there are any updates on when the other expanders will be available. Dying for more Audio/Cv and gate ins
MetaAIO will be released worldwide on February 28th!
perfect thanks so much for the info
Given that there will be more, to facilitate placement of preferred expander positions, I hope the ribbons that connect to the main module would be of sufficient length. If not for this expander, perhaps the ones that come after. Just my thoughts.
Is it safe to assume this will appear in VCV Rack at some point?
im guessing in order for them to work properly with setting up patches in vcv they will have to be i hope lol
I need this as soon as possible! Always searching for more inputs
The manual only discusses configuring the inputs and outputs on the expander via the Meta Module itself. Will it be possible to configure the expansion inputs and outputs in VCV via the Meta Module plugin (and/or a VCV plug-in dedicated to the expander)?
Yes, the MMAIO will be available in VCV before the physical module is released next week.
i get that but it would be pointless to have the vcv meta module to make patches and not have the same for the i/o expanders
its almost here im stoked.
Also, a quick note: if you’re in the US you may wish to order direct from the 4ms website. Some of our dealers will also have them on the release date, but others may take longer to order or receive stock.
Regarding sufficient length, I believe in the video from superbooth, they said that the expansions can be daisy-chained, so that should not be a problem.
This expander (and the WiFi one, not that you’d want to) can’t be daisy chained, it has its own connector on the back of MM and you can only use 1.
Just checking in if we can purchase this off the site soon! Eager to get one
Been F5’ing periodically throughout the day
We forgot to turn on web ordering early in the day, but it’s up now! Thank you to everyone who has ordered direct so far. We still (allegedly) have a USPS pickup happening today, but if they don’t show up in the next hour we’ll drop off packages at a post office that is open until 6:30.
