Aluminum Panel

what are the chances of making aluminum panels as replacements for the Meta module?

I’d love a plain aluminum panel.

Only, if you convince the guys from Intellijel to produce black panels. :joy:

As long as Intellijel kept making silver, I’m all for it. I love brands that offer both, like Cosmotronic or Squarp.

Black panels for me though i have some that aren’t. Intellijel, Shakmat and ALM are the ones i hope will have a change of colour.

I like having a mix. One of the coolest things about modular is that my synth was designed and made by lots of different people and yet it all works together.

Same. I would never want a monochromatic system.

Whatever color panel (and style of knobs, etc) the designer picked when they created the module is how they wanted it to look, just the same as the circuitry is how they wanted it to sound. The designers all have different characters as people, so the modules do too!

But different strokes for different folks- I hope people who really want an all black (or whatever) system can get what they want.

I can get a quote. Based on sales of our other alt panels, I could estimate demand. With the seven colors, it’s not going to be cheap…
I’m assuming anyone who wants the main faceplate in clear anodized aluminum would also want the expanders too? The Wi-Fi expander can’t be metal, unfortunately (white PCB might be the closest thing to bare/clear anodized aluminum color)

That’s awesome! And white for WiFi is good enough

Though I haven’t used them since I closed shop, Metalphoto of Cincinnati does their photoetching process in multicolor now. I made all my Synthwerks panels there. They used to do small runs to which might work good for something like this.
