Hi everyone…
I was wondering if there’s a way to keep the knob-set view active even when changing presets/patches. I find that after customizing the knob-sets for each patch — especially now that I’m using MIDI Program Change messages with the new firmware — it makes no sense to stay in the modules view. Every time I switch patch, I have to manually switch back to the knob-set view, which breaks the flow and wastes time.
Does anyone else feel the same?
Thanks, Valerio
It would be easy to keep track of the page you’re currently on (Knob Set or Patch View), and if you switch patches with MIDI PC, to keep it on the same page.
The idea of defaulting to Knob Set view has been tossed around here a little bit – there probably would need to be some changes to the navigation flow. Having to press Back once from the Knob Set view to get to the Patch View, and then Back again to get back to the Main Menu is a little much.
We could add the button bar to the Knob Set View, and replace the Knob icon with a Patch View icon. So pressing the Knob or Patch icon would just toggle the view, but the button bar would always be there.
Hi Dan, thanx for answering!
Yes, if it’s possibile, it would be much easier to keep the same page, switching patches!
A useful addition at this point would be to also include the name of the patch in the button bar…just to be sure of the chosen patch…
