1.4.9 Autoload issues

Updated to the 1.4.9 today and noticed it doesn’t autoload the plugins, they all have been checked to autoload but after a restart they just dont load

Hey Googie, this is Ross from 4ms. I tried to recreate your bug and was having difficulty replicating it - autoload was successfully working for me on v1.4.9 with the plugins stored on the SD card. Could you please send some more information on what’s happening? Are you loading from SD card or USB? Does it happen every time?

Hi Ross

Thank you for the quick reply , just actually noticed this today , had some bead weather here in Brisbane so stayed off the electronics during the thunder storms on the weekend.

Anywho , after reading your message I’ve re-installed the new firmware and all the plugins again (to the same SD card ) and it seemed to be working fine today so not sure what the issue was , maybe just a glitch in the matrix ?
Either way thank you for your help

No problem. We’re investigating the alleged issue deeper to make sure it’s not still occurring. Glad everything is working ok for you.

I found a bug where the settings file could not be loaded sometimes if there’s a certain combination of settings and lots of plugins auto-loading. This causes it to revert back to the default settings which was not auto loading any plugins.
I’m going to push the fix for this in the next version 1.5.2

I had the same problem.
New unit. I updated to 1.4.9, then removed the firmware from the card and uploaded all the plugins there and checked autoload. I used the metamodul a couple of times in a couple of days, then I noticed the option autoload was no longer selected. At every new startup was unselected.

I re-installed the firmware and uploaded and checked the autoload just like before. The only difference: this time I put the plugins in the root folder, not “metamodule-plugins”. As for now it worked for a couple of days without problems.

Just for the record: when thmetamodule had the autoload problem for the plugins it started sometimes with different patches. Even if I had never saved, modified or uploaded any patch.

Thanks Dan and the gang , really appreciate all the hard work

Thanks for the kind words!

Just a note that the autoload settings bug is fixed in v1.5.2.
