Noticed Dan and etcetc having a go at porting sergeXT last year, it been suggested it may be better to build it as native MM etc etc. any recent developments. Cheers J.
No developments here. Some low-level architectural things need to be refactored/figured out to make it work on the MM. A big part of the difficulty is supporting VCV => MM patch compatibility. If I had to work on it more, I think what I’d do is start over and have a separately imagined port of the original plugins, without needing to be compatible with the VCV versions. It’s not as useful that way, but perhaps after that the MM versions could be back-ported to VCV as an alternative SurgeXT plugin?
