Yeah, this is on the list to implement. There was some side discussion about it in another thread: [Highly desirable: stateful MIDI - #4 by phommed](https://forum.4ms.info/t/highly-desirable-stateful-midi/1007/4)  
Seems easy implement as a feature you can enable/disable in the preferences.
